FAST-ACT is a specially engineered combination of common metal oxides (MgO + TiO₂) with a unique structure that gives it powerful nanomaterial properties. With a final particle size of about 5μm, its production process creates a safe, non-toxic molecular structure with greatly increased porosity and surface area. This makes FAST-ACT an ideal choice for handling hazardous materials when paired with proper safety equipment like decontamination hand gloves.

How Does It Work?

Nanomaterials tend to clump together, but FAST-ACT’s incomplete molecular structure allows it to actively bind with reactive substances through ionic bonding. During a decontamination process, FAST-ACT uses the ions of the targeted chemical to complete its own structure, neutralizing hazardous liquids and vapors in a process called destructive adsorption. Its large surface area with many unsaturated ions makes it highly effective for chemical neutralization.
